Dream Kitchen of the Week

Brewer Cabinets’ Dream Kitchen of the Week is an exciting look at some of the most beautiful kitchens in our area. These bi-weekly segments appeared every other Monday, Wednesday and Friday on CBS 42's Wake Up Alabama. The Dream Kitchen segments take viewers through the process of designing and planning the perfect kitchen, choosing the cabinet styles, colors and finishes and making everything fit within a budget. Then on Fridays, the finished Dream Kitchen of the week is revealed. Each week, your hosts will share ideas, tips, the newest trends, and provide examples to help you create your very own dream kitchen.

Your hosts for The Brewer Cabinets Dream Kitchen of the Week are Jim, Jan, Jennifer and Jason Brewer. They are the family behind Birmingham's well respected Brewer Cabinets; Birmingham's largest and oldest home owned and

operated cabinet company with over 300 years of combined experience.

Series 1 In this older Bluff Park home, a wall was removed to make this kitchen larger in addition to making it spectacular.	Series 2 In this new home in Alabaster, the customer wanted a few specialty pieces to set it apart.
Series 3 CBS 42 wanted to create a modern and sturdy news and weather set that would reflect the beauty of the Birmingham area.	Series 4 This older home in Mountain Brook needed to have an updated look.
Series 5 This home built by the Lorrin Group was a new home that needed to have old world charm to fit into the Redmont neighborhood.	Series 6 This 26-year-old home in Riverchase needed something new. Lighter cabinets helped open up this kitchen.
Series 7 This new home built by the Lorrin Group has simple lines with a modern flare.	Series 8 This new home in Vestavia is one of its most elegant, and like the rest of the home, the kitchen is first class.
Series 9 This home features very feminine tastes and displays a modern touch through the finishes throughout.	Series 10 This Forest Park home was built in the early 1900s. The goal was to work with the home's old southern charm and add a more updated look.
Series 11 This new home in Hoover, built by the Sproul Building Company, features a large, beautiful peninsula between the kitchen and family room.	Series 12 This home features a gourmet kitchen used for entertaining in a transitional style, designed around commercial appliances.
Series 13 This house boat features a remodeled galley.	Series 14 This new home in Indian Springs has breathtaking views both inside and outside.
Series 15 This kitchen is in a new home built by Elrod Homebuilders, located in Woodridge Estates in Pleasant Grove.	Series 16 This home had original cabinets that were by Brewer Cabinets and the new owners wanted to freshen it up. Natural cherry on all cabinets, built-in looking pieces with decorative posts. This was one design challenge for any kitchen designer.
Series 17 Two different houses and two different budgets…both got a good value by spending the appropriate amount for the price of the home.	Series 18 Remodel of dated galley farm kitchen to update and increase view to family room.
Series 19 Remodel of dated 1995 kitchen to create a view of the kitchen as nice as the view from the kitchen.	Series 20 Once a small closed in galley kitchen, now is completely updated and opens up to the family room.
Series 21 This new home in Alabaster has the perfect kitchen with a distinguished look for a busy family.	Series 22 Tyler Crest is a new development of mid-priced townhomes nestled in the heart of Bluff Park.
Series 23 This new lakeside home has a unique blend of contemporary and traditional design.	Series 24 The kitchen was the latest renovation to this 1960’s estate that sits on 7 acres by the Hoover Country Club.
Series 25 This large home has an elegant, yet comfortable and functional kitchen.	Series 26 This smaller home has the perfect kitchen for empty nesters.
